connie-nielsen-8.JPGWe have just learned that Connie Nielsen, the actress plays the role of Detective Dani Beck on NBC’s “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” is expecting her first child with boyfriend, Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich.

On that encounter, Nielsen’s rep, Joy Limanon, tells People “They are ecstatic”. The baby reportedly is due in the early summer.

The as-yet unborn baby will be the second for Nielsen who has had a 16-year-old son, Sebastian, from a previous marriage, while is the third for Ulrich who is the father of Myles and Layne.
